Success Isn’t All It’s Cracked Up To Be…..Wait…..What?

“Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can’t lose.” – Bill Gates This reminds me of something my dad used to say to me when I got a little out of control. He’d tell me I was getting too big for my britches, meaning we’re too at ease and even somewhat cocky. We have to be cautious and aware that success can breed complacency. We can get so accustomed and comfortable with how things are going that we lose focus. This is why goals need to be evaluated, reset, revised, stretched….and the list goes on and on. So, in light of Bill Gates statement, success does leave clues and hints, however, one must not sit on their haunches and just expect it to happen. “It’s amazing.
